Yes, you can only have a max of 12,000 TCN Cash.

Do you get TCN Cash for every trade?
Nope. You get the 1500 TCN Cash when you hit the 10 trade total.
Is there a limit to how much TCN Cash you get per day?
Yes. This limit changes on a constant basis. Sometimes it is total TCN Cash, sometimes it is limited to a total number of posts in a 24 hour period.
I have a limited amount of cards to give away and can not give away enough TCN Cash to let every member get a card every day. With more cash donations to the site this can change.
Can you lose TCN Cash?
Yes. Breaking site rules, being suspended/banned may result in the loss of TCN Cash.
